Sarajevo, 21 June (AKI) - The Bosnian authorities have taken steps to revoke the citizenship of 38 individuals from Muslim countries who are suspected of links to terrorist organisations, security minister Berisa Colak announced. All 38 will be expelled from Bosnia-Herezgovina, Colak confirmed. The move follows a warning from Western intelligence sources that a number of known Islamist terrorists and their sympathisers, who fought on the side of local Muslims during Bosnia's 1992-1995 civil war, might have been granted citizenship illegitimately, according to local media reports.Posted on 24 June 2006 @ 19:57
